ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Andrea Ostertag was born in Salzburg, Austria in 1965. After her studies in
"Music and Dance Education" at the Orff-Institute from the Mozarteum University, Salzburg, she started to work in music schools, regular schools and other institutions. She also started to give workshops abroad. Since 1991 she has been a member of the Orff teacher’s staff at the Orff-Institute in Salzburg, with emphasis on dance, including folk dancing, dancing with children, dance technique and so on. Besides dance, Andrea is also a Shiatsu practitioner, a Clown Doctor in a hospital, and perform in an a Capella music cabaret group, the “muhTanten”.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Andrea will be demonstrating both movement activities and folk dances that will help professionals in their respective fields to build up their repertoire as well as technique.
This being the second part of her movement and dance workshop, Andrea will delve deeper into this artistic side of dance through the Orff Schulwerk approach, guiding participants to yet another rich movement experiences.
Pre-requisites for participants to this workshop include basic knowledge of Orff Schulwerk, as well as music theory and rudiments which would be applied from time to time.

REGISTRATION FEE
The cost for the 1½-day workshop is SGD250 and places are limited.
Tea-breaks will be provided. Every participant receives a Certificate of Participation, indicating 10½ hours of Orff Schulwerk experience, upon successful completion of the workshop.
